Deville Excel Model # EXHA2425 Pressure washer I have a deville excel Model # EXHA2425 pressure washer. I went to the deville website (devap.com) which forwarded me to the dewalt site w/ exploded diagram below. I am having problems with intermittent pressure production. If I squeeze the trigger sometimes it will have pressure, somethings it will not. If I repeatedly squeeze, then release the trigger sooner or later I will get pressure.

Power

Someone on hear had told me it was a 'bypass valve sticking'. I have an exploded diagram of the unit, but can not find a bypass valve. Is the bypass valve the same as the part #30 unloader on this exploded diagram?? Is this something I should replace and be done with, or can I take it apart clean it, and put it back together. Devilbliss / Excell pressure washers in this model number range use a Honda GC160 engine.

Information on this engine can be found here: This web site also has information about the pump and related parts just look for your model number. I find that pressure washer manuals have very little information about the engine. Small engine / mower repair shops in your area will be happy to give you free information about the where the fuel line attaches. Your engine has a black plastic fuel pump with hoses going to tank and carb. This fuel pump is powered by engine crank/vacuum purssure so there is a third hose from the fuel pump connected to the engine block. Good luck on your repair and email if you have a question or if you have a different engine than mentioned above. May 09, 2009.
